WBN Small Business Events Series: Presenter Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the participation of Speakers, Presenters, and Panellists (collectively referred to as "Presenters") in the WBN Small Business Events Series ("Event"). By agreeing to participate, Presenters accept these terms in full.

1.0 Presenter Obligations

1.1 Confirmation of Attendance: Presenters must confirm their attendance by the date specified in the invitation. Failure to do so may result in reallocation of the time slot to another presenter.

1.2 Substitute Presenters: If unable to attend, Presenters may propose a substitute with equivalent expertise, subject to WBN's prior written approval.

1.3 Presentation Materials: Presenters are required to submit all presentation materials at least 7 days before the Event in the format specified by WBN.

1.4 Biographical Information: Presenters must provide a high-resolution photograph and a brief biography for promotional purposes upon acceptance of the invitation.

2.0 WBN Rights

2.1 Program Modifications: WBN reserves the right to amend the Event program, including presentation titles and schedules, at any time.

2.2 Presenter Replacement: In the event of a Presenter's unavailability, WBN may replace the Presenter without prior notice. The replacement will be reflected in updated marketing materials.

2.3 Recording and Distribution: WBN may record presentations and retains exclusive rights to these recordings. Presenters will not receive fees or royalties but may access the recordings upon request.

3.1 Ownership of Presentation Materials: Presenters retain ownership of their presentation content but grant WBN a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute the materials for non-commercial purposes.

3.2 Use of Likeness: Presenters grant WBN the right to use their name, likeness, and biographical information in connection with the promotion and marketing of the Event.

3.3 Media Release: Presenters consent to WBN capturing photographs and recordings (audio and video) during their presentations. Presenters authorize WBN to use these materials, including their image and voice, for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes across various media platforms without compensation. Presenters waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished product wherein their likeness appears.

3.4 Third-Party Materials: Presenters must ensure that any third-party materials included in their presentations are used with appropriate permissions and do not infringe on intellectual property rights.

3.5 Indemnification: Presenters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the WBN from any claims arising out of their participation, including but not limited to intellectual property infringement or personal injury.

4.0 Confidentiality and Privacy

4.1 Confidential Information: Presenters agree not to disclose any confidential information obtained through their participation in the Event.

4.2 Data Protection: The WBN will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Presenters consent to the use of their personal information for Event-related purposes.

5.0 Indemnification

5.1 Liability: Presenters agree to indemnify and hold harmless WBN from any claims arising out of their participation, including but not limited to intellectual property infringement or personal injury.

6.0 Miscellaneous

6.1 Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia.

6.2 Entire Agreement: This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings.

6.3 Amendments: Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

By participating in the WBN Small Business Events Series, Presenters acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
