Dowerin Machinery Field Days

Dowerin Machinery Field Days

The Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days was originally founded as a fundraiser to water the towns football oval and tennis courts, starting in 1964.

It has now grown into Western Australia’s largest agricultural Field Days with its core value being an opportunity for community groups in the region to fundraise, and to financially assist projects throughout the Wheatbelt. Over 300 volunteers are at the heart of this Field Days, who are all paid an hourly wage towards a not-for-profit organisation of their choosing that is within a 100km radius of Dowerin.

In 2019 alone volunteers raised $75,000 through our volunteer hours program. We also offer two grant rounds a year that organisations involved in Field Days can apply for, these grants inject a further $30,000 into the Wheatbelt per annum. In the past ten years Field Days has contributed over 1.6 million back into the region through projects and community group contributions.

We look forward to seeing you at an event that unites the agricultural industry and beyond. To provide a platform to explore the advancements, inventions, latest research, industry professionals and so much more.
