The Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory is an interactive science exhibition centre and Observatory that allows visitors of all ages to interact with our universe.

Night and day tours of facilities for the public, schools and groups are available.

The GDC Observatory is part of the Gravity Precinct and shares this special piece of pristine bushland with the Gravity Discovery Centre, AIGO research centre and the famous Zadko telescope enabling visitors to experience science in an extraordinary number of ways.

The Observatory boasts a fully retractable roof, state of the art telescopes and amazing WA dark sky offering visitors a world class astronomy experience. Souvenirs are available for purchase at the GDC shop.

The Observatory, is situated at Yeal, between Yanchep National Park and the township of Gingin. Twelve kilometres off Indian Ocean Drive (Wanneroo Road) and twenty five kilometres from Brandt Highway (near the Gingin turnoff), we are within an hour to an hour and a half from Perth and surrounds providing close access to have this truly unique experience.
