Lachlan is a proud product of the wheatbelt, originally from a farming family in Bruce Rock and now living in Northam. 

Prior to stepping up as The Nationals WA candidate for Central Wheatbelt, Lachlan has worked in the grains and live export industry. He went on to hold senior roles within the Federal Government, focusing on policies related to agriculture and regional development and has most recently worked in a Government and Community relations role at Australia Post.

In addition to these roles, Lachlan has become a Board Member on the Northam Chamber of Commerce and holds a Non-Executive Director position at DVassist, a local WA organisation providing support to those affected by domestic and family violence in regional WA. He has also been involved in AgConnect, is a keen golfer and enjoys getting involved with community groups to make the region a great place to live.
